    A new leader takes charge of the 7th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade

    SCHWEINFURT, Germany (June 26, 2012) –  A new leader took the helm of 5th Signal Command’s 7th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade during a change of command ceremony at Conn Barracks in Schweinfurt, Germany.1

    Family, friends, guests and members of the “Voice of Freedom” brigade as well as 5th Signal Command members welcomed incoming commander Col.  Geoffrey Mangelsdorf, who accepted the brigade colors from 5th Signal Commander Col. (P) Bruce T. Crawford. 

    Outgoing commander Col. John K. Arnold will assume duties as the Deputy G6 of U.S. Army Europe in Heidelberg.  He departs with his wife and three children.

    Mangelsdorf comes to 7th Signal with his wife and son after serving as the G6 of 8th Army in Korea.

    7th TTSB, headquartered on Ledward Barracks in Schweinfurt, Germany, engineers, installs, operates, maintains, and protects secure command and control communications  to enable theater, joint, and combined forces across the full spectrum of military operations to include USAREUR, European Command, Central Command, and NATO mission.
